I have been with Holders since Dec 2012 having joined from a local Skoda /Rover dealer where I spent 11 years in the workshop/workshop control and on the front counter as a service advisor. I thoroughly enjoy my role at Holders, working with such a great team. Every day is different but what remains constant is our desire to do what is best for our loyal customers, whether that is quoting a competitive price match or some sound advice. In 2014 and 2015 Holders were nominated for the SEAT top service people awards, Jenny and I attended in 2014 then myself and Diane in 2015. On both occasions I was able to win the SEAT national Service Manager of the year award with Jenny a close second and Diane also winning her category in 2015. Along with a National Customer service dealer of the year award in 2014, these achievements highlight the experienced and dedicated team I am lucky to work alongside. Outside of Holders I am married with two young girls so any spare time is limited but if given the chance I love a round of golf or just to watch sport of any variety.

Matthew Scholey; Workshop Controller

Hello my name is Matt and in January 2015 I took over the reins for our busy and productive workshop. My predecessor Iain's shoes were always going to be tough to fill (quite literally) however coming from the workshop where I have worked since leaving school in 2005, I already have great relationships with all my colleagues so the transition was very smooth. I enjoy the customer facing side of my new role and the constant dialog/communication required to work effectively in a busy service department. Outside of work I enjoy cars and motorsport in general; I also enjoy spending time with my wife and friends walking our dog and socialising.

Jenny Gibbens; Service Advisor
Jenny Gibbens

I have been with Holders since leaving school in 1989 and have mainly carried out the same job role for all of that time, which gives me a unique overview of our customer base and working processes. Having successfully competed in the SEAT national service advisor of the year awards on several occasions, achieving a very close 2nd place in 2005 and 2014 I am happy that I have the experience and knowledge to answer most customer enquiries. Outside of Holders I enjoy photography, whilst also getting out into the fresh air on my bike whenever possible.

Diane Gibbens; Service Advisor

I have been with Holders since 1992 having gained two 'A' levels at Nailsea School 6th form before embarking on my career in the motor industry. Although my main role is as a Service Advisor on the front counter I also cover sickness and holidays in the Parts department and carry out all of the Warranty input and assessment for audit purposes. This broad scope of skills enables me to help our customers with any enquiries and also enabled me to win the SEAT National Service Advisor of the year award in 2015. I then went on to represent SEAT UK at the international final in Barcelona, which was a fantastic experience. Outside of Holders I enjoy looking after our two cats (Dylan and Harley) whilst also enjoying reading and a little retail therapy.

Andy Maddison; Parts Manager

I have been with Holders since 2009 having spent many years as a Warehouse Manager with Proton cars in Avonmouth. My experience with Proton serves me well in the parts department and I have now added the roles of customer service and dealing directly with our busy workshop. Outside of work I enjoy walking with Purdey my Border / Jack Russell puppy and getting out on my bike when I can. All of which generates a thirst that I enjoy quenching with my wife and friends in our local pubs.

Gary Marks; SEAT Master Technician

I have been with Holders since leaving school in 1990; I completed my apprenticeship and was offered a full time role as a vehicle technician. In 1995 Holders gained the franchise for SEAT cars and I started to make my way through the training programme. It was decided in 2010 that I would be enrolled on the Master Technician programme and in March 2012 I gained my Seat Master Technician accreditation, this now involves constant dialog and training with SEAT and a senior role in the workshop/ service department at Holders. In October 2012 I got married and many of my work colleges/friends enjoyed a great day at Clevedon Hall Estate. I have since bought my own house and my wife is expecting our first child, so free time is split between DIY and preparations for our new arrival.
